The New Inn is located some 3 miles from Wakefield City Centre in the picturesque village of Walton.  Ideally placed for walking only 50 metres from Pennine Trail.

A traditional 18th century building which has retained many of its original characteristics.

The New Inn prides itself on good beer and freshly cooked food.  It boasts 14 different draft beers from the bar. Many tried and tested, in addition to the more specialist beers from Europe and cask beers from Yorkshire.

                   

A CAMRA recognised pub having won the coveted pub of the season award for the winter of 2005 and included in the good beer guide for both 2006 and 2007.

A vast and varied menu from the restaurant, ranging from snacks at the bar to the more formal dining area. We even offer a take away fish and chips service!

For those special events we can offer a personal service, with menu’s tailored to suit individual requirements.  For larger events, Marquee facilities available in the garden.

                   

Open from 11 in the morning (Tuesday to Saturday) for coffee or breakfast. We are also able to cater for larger parties visiting the area.
