Here at the New Inn we pride ourselves with a choice of no less than 14 different draught beers to choose from.
We don’t recommend that you try every one, well not in the same day anyway!

LAGER
Regular lagers are  Castlemaine XXXX, Carling Extra Cold, Stella Artois, now chilled to 4 deg cel, and the very latest 4% Becks Vier

SPECIALIST BEERS
From the Czech republic Staropromen 5%, then from Belgium a cloudy white wheat beer Hoegaarden 5% and the latest from the Stella Artois Brassery group Artois Bock a strong 6.2% continental beer.

CASK BEER
John Smiths,  Timothy Taylors Landlord, Jennings Cumberland Ale,  Silver King from the local brewery at Ossett.  And always a guest beer usually from a small Yorkshire brewery (we have had 75 different beers in the last 6 months!) PLUS extra cold Tetley Smoothflow,  Strongbow Cider, and last but not least good old GUINNESS

We achieved CAMRA Pub of the Season for winter 2005 and are proud to be in the Good Beer Guide 2006 and 2007 (page 570).

WINE
We stock 5 red wine`s, 6 white wine`s and a Rose, Plus  house wine  and ‘specials’.  There is always something to suit your taste whether dining or just socialising. 

In addition we always have  Champagne for that special occasion or if your lucky and win the Lottery. 

So as you can see there is something to suit everyone
